Input letters

There are three types of input

  • One tap of button : Input center letter of button.
  • Double tap of button : Input bottom letter of button.
  • Long tap of button : Input upper letter of button.

And normally, special functions work by long tap.

If you want to type the same letter as last input letter sequentially, use preview popup.

There are two types of input in preview popup.

  • One tap of button : Input center letter of preview.
  • Long tap of button : Input upper letter of button.

For example, ‘good’ has 2-sequential ‘o’ and to type ‘oo’,

  1. tap ‘o’ button
  2. tap preview popup

If you want to type ‘lk'(‘o’ is center letter of button, and ‘p’ is bottom letter)

  1. tap ‘o’ button
  2. long tap preview popup

Triple tap works just like as ‘double tap’ + ‘tap’. Therefore to type ‘po’, just tap ‘o’ button 3 times.

Auto correction

If ‘gpd’ is inserted(your intention was to type ‘good’, but you pressed ‘o’ button 2 times just as you pressed QWERTY keyboard), STROKEY changes ‘gpd’ to ‘good’ automatically. Therefore tap STROKEY’s larger buttons just like to tap QWERTY buttons.
